Organic - when to vs. when not to - money/health debate
If your only interest in organic is for its health value, then Consumer Reports has a quick list of which products you should dig deep into your pockets for:
For all other fruits and vegetables, it doesn't make much sense. For example with Bananas there is hardly any pesticide residual on the fruit so it doesn't make a huge difference whether you buy or organic or not.
- Apples, bell peppers, celery, cherries, imported grapes, nectarines, peaches, pears, potatoes, red raspberries, spinach, and strawberries.
