Free Wi-Fi at Toronto Public Libraries

Effective immediate a select group of Toronto Public Libraries now have free Wi-Fi:

The following Toronto Public Libraries effective immediately will have access to Wi-Fi. This is definitely a new thing because I was using the library in the summer and it clearly did not have Wi-Fi access!


Users of the wireless Internet service are bound by the terms of Toronto Public Library's Rules of Conduct and Internet Use Policy.Users will not be directed to the wireless network unless they agree to these terms and conditions.

The Library's wireless access points are unsecured connections to the Internet. The Library is not responsible for data transmitted or loss of information over the wireless network. Users should be aware that third parties may be able to obtain information about users' activities when using the wireless service to connect to the Internet. The Library assumes no responsibility for the security and privacy of on-line transactions.
